IFB No: YF - Depot Medroxy Progesterone Acetate Injection (DMPA) 150mg/1ml with sterile single use auto destruct syringe

  1. The Yamaan Foundation in Yemen, through the Ministry of Public Health and Population, has received funding from KfW Development Bank for the Marketing of Contraceptives through the Private Sector (Project Component: Social Marketing of Contraceptives). It is intended that part of the proceeds of these funds will be used to procure Depot Medroxy Progesterone Acetate Injection (DMPA) 150mg/1ml with sterile single use auto destruct syringe.

  2. Accordingly, Yamaan Foundation hereby invites sealed bids from manufacturers of DMPA injection, or their duly recognised agents for the supply of around 800,000 Depot Medroxy Progesterone Acetate Injection (DMPA) 150mg/1ml with sterile single use auto destruct syringe, to be delivered to Yemen over a period of 36 months and three shipments.

  1. The Yamaan Foundation in Yemen, through the Ministry of Public Health and Population, has received funding from KfW Development Bank for the Marketing of Contraceptives through the Private Sector (Project Component: Social Marketing of Contraceptives). It is intended that part of the proceeds of these funds will be used to procure Oral Hormonal Contraceptives Cycles (COC & POP).

  2. Accordingly, Yamaan Foundation hereby invites sealed bids from manufacturers of Oral Hormonal Contraceptives Cycles (COC & POP), or their duly recognised agents for the supply of

    LOT (A) – Around 2,300,000-2,400,000 cycles of combined oral contraceptives (COC) pills and

    LOT (B) – Around 1,000,000-1,100,000 cycles of progesterone only pills (POP)
    to be delivered to Yemen over a period of 36 months and two shipments.

  1. The Yamaan Foundation in Yemen, through the Ministry of Public Health and Population, has received funding from KfW Development Bank for the Marketing of Contraceptives through the Private Sector (Project Component: Social Marketing of Contraceptives). It is intended that part of the proceeds of these funds will be used to procure Male latex condoms.

  2. Accordingly, Yamaan Foundation hereby invites sealed bids from manufacturers of male latex condoms, or their duly recognised agents for the supply of around 12,420,000 pieces (86,250 gross) of male latex condoms to be delivered to Yemen over a period of 36 months and two shipments.
