Country Director, Marie Stopes Ghana
Anne Coolen is Country Director for Marie Stopes Ghana. She is an experienced programme manager as well as a public health advisor.
Anne has led health programmes in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Sudan. In these positions, she was responsible for coordination, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. She also previously served as Country Director for Marie Stopes Mali, before joining the Ghana programme.
Before joining Marie Stopes, Anne spent three and a half years working as a public health advisor for the Dutch Royal Tropical Institute focusing on health systems strengthening in fragile states and health financing models, such as results-based financing as well as sexual and reproductive health.Back to team
