Marie Stopes Society Pakistan delivers family planning and reproductive healthcare services to millions of poor and vulnerable women.

What we do in Pakistan

We provide short term, long-acting and permanent contraception services via a network of 82 centres in 73 districts nationwide. In addition to sexual and reproductive health services, our centres also offer maternal health care, reaching women who would otherwise not have access to it.

Our online services include a 24/7 helpline and bilingual interactive website which provide information, counselling and aftercare support to our clients.

We operate in close cooperation with the government and public service providers, spearheading national sexual and reproductive health policy and training private and public providers to improve their systems – expanding our reach beyond the services we provide directly.

How we deliver services

Suraj, our social franchising network, comprises over 300 private providers located around the country.

Our centres offer a full range of sexual and reproductive health services: we lead the field in clinical quality and client focus, doubling as knowledge centres for our mobile clinical outreach teams and government clinics.

Mobile clinical outreach teams comprising a doctor, nurse and assistant travel to remote locations around the country, offering long acting and permanent contraceptive services to those who need them most.

Our contraceptive social marketing provides clients with short and long-acting methods of contraception. Some of our brands include: Femplant impants, Excite and Xtacy condoms.
