What we do in Kenya
Marie Stopes Kenya provides a wide range of high quality, affordable and client centred sexual and reproductive health services and information to men, women and young people throughout Kenya.
One of our oldest programmes, it sets the gold standard for clinical quality in sexual reproductive health in Kenya via its extensive service network, which covers the whole country.
How we deliver services
Our 22 centres and three specialist obstetrics hospitals offer many sexual reproductive health services, including the full range of family planning options, post-abortion care, emergency contraception, pre- and post natal care, safe delivery, ultrasound and prevention of mother to child transmission (PMTCT) of HIV/AIDS.
Our 15 mobile clinical outreach teams offer family planning services in 700 private and public sites across Kenya.
Almost 180 private providers make up our Amua, our oldest social franchise network, increasing to 300 in 2012.
