His venture in the field of sexual and reproductive health comes after managing a nutritional marketing project for Helen Keller International.

Prior to social development, Virgilio led the turnaround of a profit centre with the Philippine National Bank as well as working on global advertising accounts with McCann Erickson Worldwide.

He is now based in Manila and previously lived in the USA where he gained his MBA at the University of Michigan.
