The UK division provides services to men and women over 130,000 times a year.<br /><br />The Application Support Analyst will maintain SunSystems and Vision/Q&amp;A and provide user support. The role holder will deputise for the Sun Systems Manager so they can be released to work on International SunSystems project (60-80% of their time) over the next 18 to 36 months.<br /><br />The key responsibilities include:<br /><br /><ul><li>Maintenance and administration of SunSystems and Vision (Q &amp; A) and other finance applications by arranging for service packs to be tested, applied and distributed</li><li>Maintaining security, static data and business rules of SunSystems ensuring all new/amendments to the structure are implemented in a timely manner and comply with MSI policy. Oversee the monthly upload of International programmes data to the international Sun database, ensuring all data is complete and on time.</li><li>Managing questions and issues related to SunSystems and Vision (Q &amp; A), making sure ALL contacts (phone, email, etc.) are logged and ensuring agreed SLAs are adhered to in responding/resolving issues for UK &amp; International. Produce monthly statistics based on calls received, resolution, time taken, etc.</li><li>Manage and organise appropriate training courses for users of SunSystems, Vision (Q &amp; A) and Management Reporting tool. The MIS Technical Advisor will provide specialist expertise, technical leadership and technical input to the MIS Transformation programme, and will assist with the design and implementation of new management information systems (MIS) and databases. The MIS Transformation programme will explore the potential of new technologies such as biometrics, barcoding, OCR/ICR, touch-screens and mobile applications, and this role will also lead work to evaluate and, where appropriate, pilot these technologies for MSI. <br /><br />The successful candidate will have relevant proven experience with the design, development and implementation of management information systems and/or monitoring and evaluation systems. Extensive experience in providing high-level technical advice to MIS and/or M&amp;E projects is required for the role, including presenting technical advice to management meetings, drafting advisory papers, and delivering training to technical staff. Experience working within a healthcare setting is highly desirable as is experience working abroad. <br /><br />The role will be based in London, but will also involve some travel to country programmes in Africa and Asia. The aim of Marie Stopes Madagascar is to work in partnership with others to achieve Millennium Development Goal 5 – a three quarters reduction in maternal mortality and universal access to reproductive health by 2015.<br /><br />Marie Stopes is looking for an expert to strengthen our BCC and Health Promotion program. This program is working to increase awareness and access to long-acting and permanent methods of contraception for the poorest income groups, and hard-to-reach communities. <br />This is a 4-6 week consultancy based in Antananarivo, Madagascar.
