Medical research

Marie Stopes International does some medical research in partnership with other organisations, with the aim of advancing knowledge so that clients in general may benefit from improved medical regimens or equipment.

During 2006-07, Marie Stopes International has been conducting some clinical trials in collaboration with USA-based Gyunity Health Projects on different regimens of the administration of mifepristone and misoprostol for early medical abortion in 5 countries.
