On Wednesday 15th May, in Brussels, the European Union and France co-chaired an international donor’s conference ‘Together for a New Mali’ which recognised the importance of access to family planning.

The aim of the meeting was to identify priorities for action for the people of Mali and the international community, as well as integrate and coordinate support for the development of Mali over the next two years. The Malian government outlined the ‘Plan for the Sustainable Recovery of Mali 2013-2014’ (PRED) at the meeting and donors made public financial commitments.
