Highlights 

  • was awarded the KfW Entwicklungsbank-funded contract with the Ministry of Public Health & Population to run the only large scale national social marketing project
  • re-branded and re-launched Protec condoms with improved designs and packaging to reach even more users

Future plans

  • introduce permanent family planning method services in 2008
  • open 3 new clinics in 2008
  • develop and expand the social marketing programme further
  • add a HIV component to information, education & communication behaviour change communication campaigns
