Highlights

  • established a new mobile outreach team, reaching hundreds more people
  • opened 2 new clinics
  • won new funding for the programme which will allow it to expand further and have a national impact

Future plans

  • expand mobile outreach services to 17 teams in 14 districts
  • establish the BlueStar social franchise network covering 8 districts
  • establish a social marketing programme selling Depo-provera, pregnancy test kits and IUDs in 6 districts
  • expand the number of clinics to 13 across 9 districts
  • increase information, education & communication (IEC) and health-promotion activities
