Highlights

  •  the only organisation in the Philippines that provides accessible high quality sexual and reproductive health services throughout the country
  • provided 130,246 services in 2006, generating over 677,000 Couple Years of Protection
  • effectively advocated with 70 local government units over the recognition and inclusion of adolescent sexual and reproductive health issues, education, and services in the legislative agenda

Future plans

  • establish the BlueStar social franchise network
  • intensify promotion of long term and permanent family planning methods
  • improve access to all services through achieving a presence in at least 75% of local government units
