Highlights 

  • won major new funding for extension of the programme to Mexico City 
  • opened 5 new clinics in the past 18 months 
  • trained hundreds of public sector health providers, community health promoters, midwives and youth peer promoters 
  • launched a new mobile sterilisation service which will reach thousands more women

Future plans 

  • open 4 new clinics in Tonalá and Palenque (Chiapas), Juchitán (Oaxaca) and Villahermosa (Tabasco) 
  • launch the Mexico City programme
