Highlights

  • opened 6 new clinics - 3 maternity centres and 3 mini clinics. The maternity centres are funded by the European Community - the new clinics now give the programme a presence in 11 out of the 20 regions in the country
  • expanded outreach activities giving a presence in 9 out of 20 regions by extending the clinic network and outreach services
  • more people in Madagascar have access to high quality sexual and reproductive health services

Future plans

  • further develop the organisation’s strong marketing focus across all activities
  • undertake a study to assess the feasibility of introducing a social franchise network
  • consolidated resources, procedures and quality systems to ensure the services offered to clients to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness
