Highlights
  • introduced medical abortion in 2007 as part of the comprehensive service package offered in the clinic in Tirana

Future plans 

  • open a mini clinic in Bathore, a rural area populated with migrants from the north. There are currently no safe abortion services in this poor area and Marie Stopes International will be helping to meet the urgent need for this and other sexual and reproductive health services
