Typical application process
Here’s an outline of the typical hiring process at Marie Stopes International:
- Your application is received and reviewed thoroughly by the selection panel.
- A shortlist is created based on the requirements of the role (as per the Job Framework).
- Shortlisted applicants are contacted for interview – these are conducted face-to-face, via the telephone or Skype / video conference, depending on your circumstances.
- Applicants may then be invited back for a second interview, or if you have been unsuccessful you will be informed of this and offered constructive feedback to assist you with other job applications. For some vacancies we will also ask you to undergo role-specific testing or exercise simulations.
- At this stage you might be invited to meet your colleagues, or to a third interview.
- If your application is unsuccessful, we’ll tell you, again offering you constructive feedback.
- If you’ve been successful, we’ll check your references and a verbal offer of employment will be made.
- Next, we’ll issue you with all the contractual documentation you need.
- And then we’ll arrange your start date and induction.
