Benefits – International division (globally mobile)
For your dedication, passion and hard work you will be rewarded with our support and benefits, both financial and non-financial. This includes our on-going commitment to your personal and professional growth through annual performance appraisals, training and a range of opportunities.
Marie Stopes International is an attractive place to work in part because of the work environment created by our team members. We’re not just talking bricks and mortar (after all, we work in some pretty interesting and unusual places), we also mean that we can guarantee that you will be surrounded by focused, intelligent, high-achieving, talented individuals.
As a team we all contribute in our different ways, with our unique skill-sets and personal attributes helping us achieve our Mission. Marie Stopes International is an innovative, visionary and enjoyable place to be. We’re proud of that, and its one of the things that keeps us coming back day after day.
Salary
While we are a non-profit or social enterprise (a business with a social rather than financial goal), our aim is to offer competitive salaries and benefits, and to support this we conduct regular salary benchmarking exercises.

Annual leave
At Marie Stopes International you are eligible for a generous five weeks annual leave a year, plus all the statutory holidays in the country of your assignment (that fall on days you work).

Other leave
Sick leave, maternity leave, paternity leave, family leave and unpaid leave – we won’t document them in detail here, but hopefully you’re gaining a picture of an organisation that supports its people – because that’s exactly what we do.

Pension
We are also exploring an international pension / savings scheme which once you’ve been with us for three months you’ll be eligible to join if you are a non UK tax payer. If you’re prepared to contribute not less than 2.5% of your monthly salary to the scheme, we will contribute an amount equivalent to 5% of your salary.
If, however, you have been paying tax in the UK, you can join our UK pension scheme. Marie Stopes International operates a Group Personal Pension scheme which employees are eligible to join after three months continuous service. If you’re prepared to contribute not less than 2.5% of your monthly salary to the scheme, we will contribute an amount equivalent to 5% of your salary. As a member of the MSI GPP employees also benefit from life assurance of three times their salary. Full details of the scheme are available separately.
