UN agencies

Marie Stopes International works with a number of UN agencies in a variety of contexts, for example in Uganda, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) funds Marie Stopes Uganda.

Marie Stopes International is also a founder member of the Inter-agency Working Group on Reproductive Health in Crisis Settings – a group of approximately 195 member representatives of government and non government organisations, UN agencies and universities.

Marie Stopes International also collaborates closely with the UNFPA’s Humanitarian Response Unit in Geneva and New York to catalyse change in the delivery of reproductive health services in crisis settings.
